Just so good, Sean. Echoing Austin, wonderfully researched, wonderfully written. I had indeed been wondering about Nury’s turn. He was someone I used to consider a friend, but his current worldview, shared with the earnestness of a convert, is downright scary. Especially sad given his legacy as Tarzie's son--my Ceylon Tamil uncles spoke of him (Tarzie, that is) with such admiration (though Nury had a complicated relationship with him, but that’s neither here nor there.) Thank you!

Thank you for the kind comment. To my fresh eyes, it was very apparent the respect Tarzie has, even today. Must have left a big shadow~

a laughing stock in HK for literally decades, my mother bought me his "HK Joke Book" the joke being he spent the money publishing it. Once the workshops and the speaking gigs at the expatriate-heavy social clubs dried up, it was flee back to the UK and give up the easy life or become a total bastard. The banality of evil.
